A couple days after Thanksgiving BJ and I loaded up the girls to go hunt down a Christmas tree up in Red Lodge.
We hiked on the trail about a half mile or so to find our "perfect" tree!
We ran into my sister and her family and the kids had a blast sledding with their cousins for a while.

After a bite to eat at Red Lodge Pizza Company we headed home. Popped some popcorn and spent the night stringing the popped corn.
I also baked gingerbread men and put a bit of glitter on the edges to decorate our tree.
I love decorating for Christmas! The smells and sounds and all the details are so much fun!
This is our other tree. It is fake and we bought it the first year we got married. We hang all the random ornaments we get every year on this one. It brings back so many memories and lets us add to it year after year!

You guys are much better than we are, I'm content to get my tree from Home depot. But looks very nice! Good job!
So fun!!! I love Christmas decorating too...I just realized that I never called back this last weekend. Sorry. Maybe it is a newly wed thing...because I had time on Sunday, for the first time in a LONG time! I can't wait to talk to you guys again...and if we ever end up in that area for good, Greg has always wanted to go hunt his own Christmas tree down. Maybe we could go with you!!??
